My wife is pregnant and I bought this book so that I could try to keep up with the development of the baby, my wife, and frankly myself. While there is good information in the book it is not organized in a way that allows you to “read along” with the pregnancy. She ended up buying me a different book that was organized by month so I am able to read a chapter in one sitting and get all the information I need for the next 4 weeks.

I gave this item as a gift for an expectant father. I haven’t heard his review yet.

After a first-time surprise pregnancy in my 30’s, my 34 year-old boyfriend kept asking question after question. In response, I bought him this book to help him understand this new journey. I knew he wouldn’t read it unless it was funny – and he read the whole thing. I personally have not read the book yet, but I can tell you his response: “From the beginning, there were stories that made me laugh out loud. I could relate to them. Also, I feel like I can be a little more sympathetic because I understand what’s going on ‘internally’ better and can help you.” I can honestly say he began relating to me a LOT better after reading the book. He even explained some things he learned in the book about pregnancy to ME when I said, “I wonder why this is happening?” I was pleased with the outcome.

I am having my first baby, a boy with my wife who has had two previous girls. The great info and stories allowed me to find some ease with my worrie and concerns and some great info for the road ahead as we enter our 6th month of pregnancy. Great buy, a must have for new dads and all dads alike.

This is the perfect book for the first time father. (My wife is pregnant with our first child!) It covers so many aspects of pregnancy a first time father needs to understand while the real life stories make for a very entertaining read. Additionally, the book explains how husbands can be supportive for their wives

throughout pregnancy. These tips will definitely make the nine months easier on both the expecting father and mother!
